Automobile


The easiest way to get to Abilene is by automobile. We are located at Exit 275 on I-70 and K-15. Car rental agencies with service at Kansas airports are: Dollar Rent A Car, Thrifty, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, National, Alamo, Fox Rent A Car, and U-Save.

Plane


There is no air service into Abilene. We recommend that you fly into Kansas City International Airport or Wichita Mid-Continent Airport. You may also choose to fly into the Manhattan or Salina airports. You would then need to rent a car or take a taxi into Abilene or take a bus to a neighboring city.

You may also take a van shuttle service from the Kansas City airport to Junction City, Kansas. This service is provided by KCI Roadrunner 800-888-8294). From Junction City you can take a taxi to Abilene. Your place of accommodation may also assist you with travel arrangements. Please inquire directly with your place of lodging regarding any such service.

Taxi


In-town transportation services are offered by OCCK Inc., 409 NW 3rd Street Abilene, Kansas 800-526-9731. There is no out-of-town taxi service. However, taxi service is available from Salina or Junction City. You may locate a taxi service utilizing online directory services such as Switchboard.

Bus


General public transportation is available within the city of Abilene Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. More information can be found at the City of Abilene Website.

Parking


Parking is free at the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum. Spaces are available for tour buses and recreational vehicles.
