Visitation

  • Since 1962, nearly 8 million persons have visited the Eisenhower Center
  • 30% of visitors are from the state of Kansas
  • 65% are from out of state
  • 5% from foreign countries.
  • Nearly 150 school groups tour the facility each year

     The Eisenhower Center is located two miles south of the Abilene exit off Interstate 70. All buildings at the Eisenhower Center are handicapped accessible and open daily from 9:00 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. From Memorial Day until mid-August, the Museum and Visitors Center are open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:45 p.m. All buildings are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. A small fee is charge for persons 16 years of age and older at the museum only.
