    Symphony at Sunset

The Symphony at Sunset Annual D-Day Commemoration Concert is held the first Saturday in June at the Eisenhower Presidential Library in Abilene, Kansas. The outdoor concert is held on 22-acre campus with the bronze statue of General Eisenhower overlooking the events.  This patriotic event is the perfect opportunity to pay tribute to all veterans. Each year an opening act performs around 7 p.m. and the Salina Symphony headlines the event beginning at 8:30 p.m. just as the sun sets.  Food and beverage vendors are set up allowing concert enthusiasts to picnic on the grounds.
